In an effort to communicate more effectively with people, I found myself searching on the internet for information on how to reduce my Spanish accent. I found the Speech Works website advertising the ESPL-Compton program, and I soon became interested. As a result, I contacted Judy, the instructor, and started taking lessons, which have changed the way I communicate.
Due to my English classes, I have been able to overcome personal difficulties and encounters at my work. Immediately after my first classes, I found a feeling of confidence brewing within me; consequently, conversations with my co-workers are less stressful. They no longer ask me to repeat myself. My reading skills have evolved due to these classes also. I enjoy my reading much more. In addition to my personal life, these classes have also positively affected my work experience. I am now receiving better feedback from management, co-workers, and customers in general. Furthermore, I am currently more willing to participate in projects. To conclude, these classes have given me an invaluable gift altogether, and what I have learned here will be brought along with me for the rest of my life.
